The year was 2023...
we both found ourselves in a time of breaking and uncertainty. We knew each other in college, and had kept in touch through social media over the years, but hadn’t seen or really talked to each other in over 20 years. A chance Instagram chat connected us and we started talking about how we were both in transition, maybe we could support each other? That direct message turned into a video call, then more video calls, and eventually an idea to build something together.
As young people, both of us always thought we would one day be in full time ministry. After all, we went to Bible College, not business school. Yet we ended up in business: Amy in entrepreneurship and Jen in corporate America. Success followed us both, in financial means and growth opportunities. But suddenly, in 2023, we found ourselves standing and looking at the ruins of our lives: Jen with a sudden corporate buyout and job loss and Amy with a broken marriage and failed business.
As our losses caught up with us, so did our awareness and surrender. God was showing us once again what was most important: it’s all about Him. As we started sharing about how we wanted to rebuild our lives, we realized that seeking monetary gains was senseless and brought us very little; now our first love of ministry was pushing us forward. Eventually we decided we could do something as a team… afterall we both have talents: Jen in human resources and Amy in business. Could we meld them together and grow something for Him?
We decided we could. Furthermore, we decided that we use what God has already given us: clothing and people. Since Amy had already started Glory Revealed Musings, it seemed fit to piggyback on that, especially since we both found ourselves in the middle of a glory revealed story. Clothing was another way we could tell these stories while building a business that glorified God.
Glory Revealed Clothing exists for one purpose: bring comfort and beauty to women while telling stories that reveal God’s glory through suffering. This brand’s core desire is to give women hope- not just clothing. You are not alone. Everyone has a story, and we want to tell as many as possible, so you can see yourself reflected in at least one of them. Every time you put on one of our pieces it is our desire you will remember the story that goes with it, uplifting you to have hope in God’s promises and purpose for your life. You can keep going, and we believe that the stories we tell will support you in your journey.
As we build this business for His glory, our prayer is you feel Him every step of the way. While He does a work in us, we know He is doing a work in you as well, and we are excited to walk this journey with you. May you always remember that your pain is not in vain, God will use it to bring beauty from the ashes and make you a bright light for all around you.
Much love,
Jen and Amy

Jennifer Jellison
Jennifer is a woman whose story hasn’t followed the script she expected, and sometimes she’s still learning to find peace and patience in that process. Born and raised in Indiana, she moved around quite a bit in her adventurous 20’s, but eventually ended up back in her home state and now lives in a little town called New Palestine, IN. Jen inherited a love for people and Jesus from her parents, and enjoys volunteering at local non-profits and serving at her church. She finds joy in spending quality time with family and her friends, and unwinding on a drive with the windows down and the radio up on old country roads. She is currently a Co-Founder of Glory Revealed and hopes that the stories they have the privilege to share will bring hope, encouragement and be a reminder that He never leaves us.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
